Retrieve GPS Total Electron Content data for a location.

Fetches TEC timeseries from CODE/IGS global ionosphere maps
for the specified location and date range. The default 27-day
window corresponds to one solar rotation period.

Parameters
----------
lat : float
    Latitude (WGS84).
lon : float
    Longitude (WGS84).
date : str
    Center date for retrieval (ISO 8601).
n_days : int
    Number of days to retrieve (default 27).

**Pricing:** Included in subscription tiers (legacy list price: GET /api/v1/billing/pricing).

## Query parameters

- `lat` number, required: Latitude (WGS84)
- `lon` number, required: Longitude (WGS84)
- `date` string, required: Date for TEC retrieval (ISO 8601, e.g. '2026-03-01')
- `n_days` integer: Number of days of TEC data to retrieve (default 27)
- `x_api_key` string, nullable
