# Set or change password on an existing account

`POST /api/v1/auth/set-password`

Upgrade an existing API-key-only account to also support email+password sign-in.  Requires Bearer auth with an existing valid api_key; sets the password on the email attached to that key.  Idempotent -- call again to change the password.
