# Get Version by Name

`GET /api/v1/version/name/{version_name}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dealhub.io`
- URL: `https://api.dealhub.io/api/v1/version/name/{version_name}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieve a specific Version based on its name.

## Path parameters

- `version_name` string, required

## Response `200`

Success.

- Version
  - `name` string: Name of the version.
  - `comment` string: Comment provided during version creation.
  - `status` string: Status of the version.
  - `version_id` string: The unique identifier of the version.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request. No Version was found matching the provided `version_name`.
- `403`: Unauthenticated. The `Authorization` token is missing, invalid, or does not match the user.
