# Activate a Version

`POST /api/v1/version/activate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dealhub.io`
- URL: `https://api.dealhub.io/api/v1/version/activate`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Asynchronously activates a `DRAFT` Version. This operation returns a `request_id` for tracking.

## Request body

- ActivateVersionRequest
  - `version_id` string, required: ID of the Version that should be activated.

## Response `200`

Success. The activation process has started.

- AsyncResponse
  - `request_id` string: The ID of the asynchronous request for tracking.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request. The Version does not exist or is already in `ACTIVE` status.
- `403`: Unauthenticated. The `Authorization` token is missing, invalid, or does not match the user.
