# Get Asynchronous Request Status

`GET /api/v1/request/{request_id}/status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dealhub.io`
- URL: `https://api.dealhub.io/api/v1/request/{request_id}/status`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Polls and retrieves the current status of a specific asynchronous request (e.g., duplicate version, activate version).

## Path parameters

- `request_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Success. Returns the current status of the request.

- RequestStatus
  - `request_id` string: ID of the asynchronous request.
  - `status` 'in-progress' | 'done' | 'failed' | 'queued': Status of the asynchronous request.
  - `error_description` string: Description of the error if the status is 'failed'.
  - `error_code` string: Code of the error if the status is 'failed'.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request. No asynchronous request was found matching the provided `request_id`.
- `403`: Unauthenticated. The `Authorization` token is missing, invalid, or does not match the user.
