# Update Users (v1)

`PUT /api/v1/users`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dealhub.io`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Updates one or more existing users in DealHub. This operation identifies users by their `login`, which is an immutable field.

## Request body

- object
  - `users` UserUpdateV1[]: A list of users to be updated.
    - `login` string, required: Login of the user. An immutable field used as an identifier.
    - `email` string, email, required: Primary email of the user.
    - `name` string, required: User's full name.
    - `is_active` boolean, required: The flag that specifies if a user should be marked as active in the CPQ system. When a user is inactive, he/she cannot access CPQ.
    - `position` string: The role of the user in the organization (job title).
    - `phone` string: User's phone number.
    - `mobile` string: User's mobile phone number.
    - `fax` string: User's fax number.
    - `company` string: User's company name.
    - `street` string: Street name.
    - `city` string: City name.
    - `state` string: State name.
    - `country` string: Country name.
    - `postal_code` string: Postal code.
    - `user_manager_login` string: Login of the user's manager.

## Response `200`

Success. The response may contain a list of errors for users that could not be updated.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request. The request payload is invalid.
- `403`: Forbidden. Invalid or missing authentication token.
