# Sign a Quote Externally

`POST /api/v1/quote/{dealhub_quote_id}/sign_externally`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dealhub.io`
- URL: `https://api.dealhub.io/api/v1/quote/{dealhub_quote_id}/sign_externally`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Asynchronously marks an existing quote as `Won`. The quote must be in a `Ready to be sent` or `Published` status.

## Path parameters

- `dealhub_quote_id` string, required

## Request body

- SignActionRequest
  - `line_item_details` 'basic' | 'all': Specifies the level of detail to include in the response for line items.
  - `sign_externally_comment` string, required: Includes the necessary comments for external signing.

Accepted. The sign externally action has been initiated.
