# Delete a calendar event

`DELETE /v1/inboxes/{inbox_id}/calendar/events/{event_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.deadsimple.email`
- URL: `https://api.deadsimple.email/v1/inboxes/{inbox_id}/calendar/events/{event_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the row. Attendees are not told: to withdraw an invitation you sent, PATCH `status` to cancelled and call `invite` (which then sends a CANCEL) before deleting. Emits `calendar.event.cancelled` unless the event was already cancelled. SDK: `calendar.delete`.
