# Get source UI spec

`POST /api/v1/project/{projectid}/sources/spec`

Retrieve the UI spec for a specific source type/version.

## Path parameters

- `projectid` string, required

## Request body

- DtoSpecRequest
  - `type` string, required — enum: postgres,mongodb,mysql,mssql,db2,s3,kafka,iceberg
  - `version` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400` — failed to validate request
- `401` — unauthorized
- `413` — payload too large
- `500` — failed to get spec
