# Check name uniqueness

`POST /api/v1/project/{projectid}/check-unique`

Verify if a given name is unique within the project for a specific entity type.

## Path parameters

- `projectid` string, required

## Request body

- DtoCheckUniqueNameRequest
  - `entity_type` 'job' | 'source' | 'destination', required
  - `name` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400` — failed to validate request
- `401` — unauthorized
- `409` — name is not unique
- `413` — payload too large
- `500` — failed to check uniqueness
