# Create a free account and API key

`POST /signup`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://datascoop.io`
- URL: `https://datascoop.io/signup`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`

Returns the key once. If the email already has an account, no key is returned; use /login.

## Request body

  - `email` string, email, required

## Response `200`

Key issued

  - `api_key` string
  - `plan` string

## Other responses

- `409`: Account exists
