# Recall Totals

`GET /recalls/totals`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dataporium.io`
- URL: `https://api.dataporium.io/recalls/totals`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

Recalls counted by one field, with the units affected: by year, month, kind, category, make, model, model_year, manufacturer, ticker, hazard, product_type or component, with the same filters as /recalls.

The answer is {by, filters, total, recalls, limit, offset, sort, order, as_of, rows, about}.

- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Successful response (JSON).

- `401`: No API key in the request.
