# Recalls

`GET /recalls`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dataporium.io`
- URL: `https://api.dataporium.io/recalls`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

Recalls of vehicles (kind vehicle: cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, RVs and trailers, plus tires, child car seats and vehicle equipment) since the late 1960s and of consumer products (kind consumer: toys, children's products, furniture, appliances, tools, bicycles and more) since the 1970s, from official public data, newest first. /recalls/{id} gives one recall (by id such as v24v123000 or c26123, or its page name) with its texts and the makes, models and model years it covers.

The answer is {filters, total, limit, offset, sort, order, as_of, rows, about}; as_of gives the newest recall date of each kind. /recalls/{id} answers {recall, vehicles, vehicles_total, about}. Until the first load is finished, lists answer with empty rows and note "Data is being prepared".
