# Companies by Layoffs

`GET /layoffs/companies`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dataporium.io`
- URL: `https://api.dataporium.io/layoffs/companies`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

Companies ranked by the number of layoff events and the workers affected over the last 30, 90 or 365 days (or all time), with the ticker of listed companies, the states, the industry and the date of the newest layoff.

The answer is {days, filters, total, rows, as_of, about}.

- `sort` string
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Successful response (JSON).

- `401`: No API key in the request.
