# Lab Counts and Lab Companies

`GET /healthcare/labs/summary`

## Request

- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

Lab counts and reported yearly test volumes grouped by segment, lab type, certificate type, state, volume band, ownership, accreditation or company, and the yearly trend since 2012 (group_by=year or segment_year). /healthcare/labs/companies lists the listed and large private lab companies with labs, states, test volumes and the Medicare lab payments of their linked NPIs.
