# Hospitals

`GET /healthcare/hospitals`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dataporium.io`
- URL: `https://api.dataporium.io/healthcare/hospitals`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

Every active Medicare-certified hospital in the US (identified by its CCN) from official US government data: type, ownership, beds, emergency services, teaching status, the overall star rating (1 to 5), the health system and its listed owner, and the latest yearly financials from the hospital cost reports.

All filters are optional and can be combined. The answer is {total, limit, offset, sort, order, rows, about, as_of}. This data needs a full API key (demo keys are limited to their demo tickers).
