# Drug Side-Effect Reports

`GET /healthcare/drugs/adverse-events/{drug}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dataporium.io`

- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

Side-effect reports for one medicine, counted per active ingredient by the year received: totals, reports by year (all, serious, naming a death, naming a hospital stay), the 25 reactions named most often over all years and the last 5 years, patient sex and age group, and links to the Medicare drug pages and listed companies. /healthcare/drugs/adverse-events ranks drugs (group_by=drug) or gives one drug by year (drug=); /healthcare/drugs/adverse-events/reactions gives the reactions of one drug (drug=) or the drugs with the most reports of one reaction (reaction=).
