# Nearest Local Gas Price

`GET /gas-prices/local/nearest`

## Request

- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

The most local daily gas prices for a place: its county (regular), the metro area the county belongs to and its state (regular, midgrade, premium, diesel), most local first.

Give at least one of state, county + state, county_fips or metro_code. The answer is {query, areas, nearest, as_of, unit, about}.

- `401`: No API key in the request.
