# Facilities

`GET /compliance/facilities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dataporium.io`
- URL: `https://api.dataporium.io/compliance/facilities`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

US facilities with environmental compliance records (air, water and hazardous waste programs) or workplace safety inspections since 2010, or greenhouse gas reports, from official public data, with their totals for a period (default the last 5 years): inspections, violations, serious violations, penalties assessed, enforcement actions, and the newest year's emissions. /compliance/facilities/{facility_id} gives one facility with every year of each kind and of emissions.

The answer is {total, limit, offset, sort, order, period, filters, point, data_date, rows, about}; data_date gives the years covered by each kind. Until the first load is finished, lists answer with note "Data is being prepared". A record does not mean a site is unsafe today; penalties and violations vary a lot by industry and size.
