# Business Segment Details

`GET /business-segments/detail`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dataporium.io`
- URL: `https://api.dataporium.io/business-segments/detail`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

Every revenue breakdown list a company reports in its SEC filings for one fiscal year, quarter or half-year, with all levels (for example segment > therapeutic area > drug > region), the parent of each item, partial lists, corporate and elimination items, and why a fourth quarter or second half-year is not shown.

Required: symbol or cik. Two lists are two separate splits of the same revenue: never add two breakdown_ids together. The answer is {symbol, company_name, currency, fiscal_type, fiscal_period, periods, rows, truncated, notes, about}.

- `401`: No API key in the request.
