# Banks and Credit Unions

`GET /banks`

## Request

Every US bank and credit union, from official public data, with the newest quarter's numbers: total assets, deposits, loans, equity, profit (year to date and the quarter), return on assets and equity, capital ratio, net interest margin, noncurrent loans, branches, employees and members. /banks/{id} gives one institution (by id such as b628 or cu5536, or its page name) with the change from a year before, its branch count and deposits, and its failure when it failed.

The answer is {total, limit, offset, sort, order, rows, about}. /banks/{id} answers {bank, latest, year_ago, branches, failure, about}; /banks/{id}/financials gives every quarter of one institution (period_from, period_to, order, limit up to 1000) and /banks/{id}/branches its branches of one year (year, state, sort deposits, name, city or established_date).
