## Request

- URL: `https://api.dataporium.io/airlines`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `apikey`

US airline on-time performance and passenger traffic by month, from official public data. /airlines ranks the airlines for a period by on-time %, delays, cancellations, average arrival delay, passengers, seats or load factor, with the same period a year earlier. /airlines/series gives monthly numbers of one airline, several, a listed company (ticker) or all airlines. /airlines/{carrier} gives one airline with its newest month, last 12 months, busiest airports and routes.

The answer is {period, total, limit, offset, sort, order, rows, as_of, about}; as_of gives the first and newest month of the on-time and the traffic numbers. /airlines/series takes carrier, ticker, by (total or carrier), date_from and date_to (YYYY-MM). Until the first load is finished the lists answer with empty rows and note "Data is being prepared".
