# Delete File

`DELETE /api/v1/files/{file_id}`

Delete an uploaded file.

Removes the file from both storage and the database.

## Path parameters

- `file_id` integer, required

## Cookies

- `wos-session` string
- `datalab_active_team` string

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- DeleteFileResponse — Response after deleting a file.
  - `success` boolean — Whether the deletion was successful
  - `message` string, required — Confirmation message

## Other responses
