# Search organisations, people, or both

`GET /api/v1/search`

## Request

A query that is a name ranks well-known and gold records whose name, legal name or alias matches first, then exact names, then other matches. A one-letter word is ignored; a person search needs at least one word or filter. limit and offset are clamped, and the applied values come back in meta.
