# Delete an existing Workflow

`DELETE /api/v2/workflows/{workflow_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/workflows/{workflow_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Delete a workflow by ID. This API requires a [registered application key](https://docs.datadoghq.com/api/latest/action-connection/#register-a-new-app-key). Alternatively, you can configure these permissions [in the UI](https://docs.datadoghq.com/account_management/api-app-keys/#actions-api-access).

## Path parameters

- `workflow_id` string, required

## Response `204`

Successfully deleted a workflow.

- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Too many requests
