# Update a web integration account

`PATCH /api/v2/web-integrations/{integration_name}/accounts/{account_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/web-integrations/{integration_name}/accounts/{account_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Update an existing account for a given web integration.

## Path parameters

- `integration_name` string, required
- `account_id` string, required

- WebIntegrationAccountUpdateRequest: Payload schema when updating a web integration account.
  - `data` WebIntegrationAccountUpdateRequestData, required: Data object for updating a web integration account.
    - `attributes` WebIntegrationAccountUpdateRequestAttributes, required: Attributes object for updating a web integration account.
      - `name` string: A human-readable name for the account.
      - `secrets` WebIntegrationAccountSecrets: Integration-specific secrets. The shape of this object varies by integration. Secrets are write-only and never returned by the API.
      - `settings` WebIntegrationAccountSettings: Integration-specific settings. The shape of this object varies by integration.
    - `type` 'Account', required: Account resource type.
