# Get identity provider overrides for a user

`GET /api/v2/users/{user_id}/identity_providers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/users/{user_id}/identity_providers`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `user_access_manage`

Get the identity provider overrides for a specific user in the organization.
When a user has no overrides set, they use the organization's default identity providers.

## Path parameters

- `user_id` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- UserOverrideIdentityProvidersResponse: Response containing a user's identity provider overrides.
  - `data` UserOverrideIdentityProviderData[], required: List of user identity provider override data objects.
    - `attributes` UserOverrideIdentityProviderAttributes, required: Attributes of an identity provider override for a user.
      - `authentication_method` string, required: The authentication method used by this identity provider.
    - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of the identity provider.
    - `type` 'identity_providers', required: The resource type for identity providers.

## Other responses

- `403`: Authentication error
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Too many requests
