# Get service repository information

`POST /api/v2/sourcemaps/service_repository_info`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/sourcemaps/service_repository_info`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Returns the repository URL and commit SHA associated with a given service and version.

## Request body

- ServiceRepositoryInfoRequest: Request body for retrieving service repository information.
  - `data` ServiceRepositoryInfoRequestData, required: Data object for the service repository info request.
    - `attributes` ServiceRepositoryInfoRequestAttributes, required: Attributes for the service repository info request.
      - `service` string, required: The name of the service.
      - `version` string, required: The version of the service.
    - `type` 'service_repository_info', required: The resource type for service repository info objects.

OK

- ServiceRepositoryInfoResponse: Response containing service repository information.
  - `data` ServiceRepositoryInfoResponseData, required: Data object for the service repository info response.
    - `attributes` ServiceRepositoryInfoResponseAttributes, required: Attributes of the service repository information.
      - `commit_sha` string: The SHA of the commit associated with the service version.
      - `repository_url` string: The URL of the source code repository.
      - `status` 'success' | 'not_found' | 'no_repository' | 'internal_error' | 'unknown', required: The status of the service repository info lookup.
    - `id` string, required: The identifier composed of the service name and version.
    - `type` 'service_repository_info', required: The resource type for service repository info objects.
