# Update Scorecard outcomes

`POST /api/v2/scorecard/outcomes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/scorecard/outcomes`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `apm_service_catalog_write`

Updates multiple scorecard rule outcomes in a single batched request.

## Request body

- UpdateOutcomesAsyncRequest: Scorecard outcomes batch request.
  - `data` UpdateOutcomesAsyncRequestData: Scorecard outcomes batch request data.
    - `attributes` UpdateOutcomesAsyncAttributes: The JSON:API attributes for a batched set of scorecard outcomes.
      - `results` UpdateOutcomesAsyncRequestItem[]: Set of scorecard outcomes to update asynchronously.
        - `entity_reference` string, required: The unique reference for an IDP entity.
        - `remarks` string: Any remarks regarding the scorecard rule's evaluation. Supports HTML hyperlinks.
        - `rule_id` string, required: The unique ID for a scorecard rule.
        - `state` 'pass' | 'fail' | 'skip', required: The state of the rule evaluation.
    - `type` 'batched-outcome': The JSON:API type for scorecard outcomes.

## Response `202`

- `429`: Too many requests
