# Create On-Call Page

`POST /api/v2/on-call/pages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://navy.oncall.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://navy.oncall.datadoghq.com/api/v2/on-call/pages`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token`

Trigger a new On-Call Page.

## Request body

- CreatePageRequest: Full request to trigger an On-Call Page.
  - `data` CreatePageRequestData: The main request body, including attributes and resource type.
    - `attributes` CreatePageRequestDataAttributes: Details about the On-Call Page you want to create.
      - `description` string: A short summary of the issue or context.
      - `tags` string[]: Tags to help categorize or filter the page.
      - `target` CreatePageRequestDataAttributesTarget, required: Information about the target to notify (such as a team or user).
        - `identifier` string: Identifier for the target (for example, team handle or user ID).
        - `type` 'team_id' | 'team_handle' | 'user_id': The kind of target, `team_id` | `team_handle` | `user_id`.
      - `title` string, required: The title of the page.
      - `urgency` 'low' | 'high', required: On-Call Page urgency level.
    - `type` 'pages', required: The type of resource used when creating an On-Call Page.

## Response `200`

OK.

- CreatePageResponse: The full response object after creating a new On-Call Page.
  - `data` CreatePageResponseData: The information returned after successfully creating a page.
    - `id` string: The unique ID of the created page.
    - `type` 'pages', required: The type of resource used when creating an On-Call Page.
