# Get the list of interfaces of the device

`GET /api/v2/ndm/interfaces`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/ndm/interfaces`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Get the list of interfaces of the device.

## Query parameters

- `device_id` string, required
- `get_ip_addresses` boolean

## Response `200`

OK

- GetInterfacesResponse: The `GetInterfaces` operation's response.
  - `data` GetInterfacesData[]: Get Interfaces response
    - `attributes` InterfaceAttributes: The interface attributes
      - `alias` string: The interface alias
      - `description` string: The interface description
      - `index` integer: The interface index
      - `ip_addresses` string[]: The interface IP addresses
      - `mac_address` string: The interface MAC address
      - `name` string: The interface name
      - `status` 'up' | 'down' | 'warning' | 'off': The interface status
    - `id` string: The interface ID
    - `type` string: The type of the resource. The value should always be interface.

## Other responses

- `403`: Forbidden
- `429`: Too many requests
