# Get active downtimes for a monitor

`GET /api/v2/monitor/{monitor_id}/downtime_matches`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/monitor/{monitor_id}/downtime_matches`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `monitors_downtime`

Get all active downtimes for the specified monitor.

## Path parameters

- `monitor_id` integer, required

## Query parameters

- `page[offset]` integer
- `page[limit]` integer

## Response `200`

OK

- MonitorDowntimeMatchResponse: Response for retrieving all downtime matches for a monitor.
  - `data` MonitorDowntimeMatchResponseData[]: An array of downtime matches.
    - `attributes` MonitorDowntimeMatchResponseAttributes: Downtime match details.
      - `end` string, date-time, nullable: The end of the downtime.
      - `groups` string[]: An array of groups associated with the downtime.
      - `scope` string: The scope to which the downtime applies. Must follow the [common search syntax](https://docs.datadoghq.com/logs/explorer/search_syntax/).
      - `start` string, date-time: The start of the downtime.
    - `id` string, nullable: The downtime ID.
    - `type` 'downtime_match': Monitor Downtime Match resource type.
  - `meta` DowntimeMeta: Pagination metadata returned by the API.
    - `page` DowntimeMetaPage: Object containing the total filtered count.
      - `total_filtered_count` integer: Total count of elements matched by the filter.

## Other responses

- `404`: Monitor Not Found error
- `429`: Too many requests
