# List active tags and aggregations

`GET /api/v2/metrics/{metric_name}/active-configurations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/metrics/{metric_name}/active-configurations`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

List tags and aggregations that are actively queried on dashboards, notebooks, monitors, the Metrics Explorer, and using the API for a given metric name.

## Path parameters

- `metric_name` string, required

- `window[seconds]` integer

## Response `200`

Success

- MetricSuggestedTagsAndAggregationsResponse: Response object that includes a single metric's actively queried tags and aggregations.
  - `data` MetricSuggestedTagsAndAggregations: Object for a single metric's actively queried tags and aggregations.
    - `attributes` MetricSuggestedTagsAttributes: Object containing the definition of a metric's actively queried tags and aggregations.
      - `active_aggregations` MetricCustomAggregation[]: List of aggregation combinations that have been actively queried.
        - `space` 'avg' | 'max' | 'min' | 'sum', required: A space aggregation for use in query.
        - `time` 'avg' | 'count' | 'max' | 'min' | 'sum', required: A time aggregation for use in query.
      - `active_tags` string[]: List of tag keys that have been actively queried.
    - `id` string: The metric name for this resource.
    - `type` 'actively_queried_configurations': The metric actively queried configuration resource type.

- `429`: Too Many Requests
