# Get patterns run status

`GET /api/v2/llm-obs/v1/topic-discovery-runs/status`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Retrieve the status and step-by-step progress of the current or most recent
patterns run for a configuration.

## Query parameters

- `config_id` string, required

- LLMObsPatternsRunStatusResponse: Response containing the status of an LLM Observability patterns run.
  - `data` LLMObsPatternsRunStatusResponseData, required: Data object of an LLM Observability patterns run status response.
    - `attributes` LLMObsPatternsRunStatusResponseAttributes, required: Attributes of an LLM Observability patterns run status.
      - `created_at` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when the run was created.
      - `progress` LLMObsPatternsActivityProgress[], required: List of step-by-step progress entries for a patterns run.
        - `name` string, required: Name of the step.
        - `started_at` string, date-time, nullable: Timestamp when the step started. Null if the step has not started.
        - `status` string, required: Status of the step.
      - `status` string, required: Overall status of the run.
      - `step` string, required: The current step of the run.
    - `id` string, required: The ID of the patterns run.
    - `type` 'topic_discovery_run_status', required: Resource type of an LLM Observability patterns run status.
