# Get the Governance Console configuration

`GET /api/v2/governance/config`

## Request

Retrieve the Governance Console configuration for the organization, including whether the
Console is enabled, whether assignment notifications are enabled, and whether usage
attribution is configured.

  - `data` GovernanceConfigData, required: A Governance Console configuration resource.
    - `attributes` GovernanceConfigAttributes, required: The attributes of a Governance Console configuration.
      - `assignment_notifications_enabled` boolean, required: Whether notifications are sent to users when detections are assigned to them.
      - `enabled` boolean, required: Whether the Governance Console is enabled for the organization.
      - `usage_attribution_configured` boolean, required: Whether usage attribution is configured for the organization.
      - `xorg_insights_enabled` boolean, required: Whether the organization has opted in to sharing governance data with a managing org for cross-org insights.
    - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of the organization the Governance Console configuration applies to. May be the nil UUID (`00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000`) when the configuration is not tied to a specific organization record.
    - `type` 'governance_console_config', required: Governance console config resource type.
