# Publish a form version

`POST /api/v2/forms/{form_id}/publish`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/forms/{form_id}/publish`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Publish a specific version of a form, making it available for submissions.

## Path parameters

- `form_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- PublishFormRequest: A request to publish a form version.
  - `data` PublishFormData, required: The data for publishing a form version.
    - `attributes` PublishFormDataAttributes, required: The attributes for publishing a form version.
      - `version` integer, required: The version number to publish.
    - `type` 'form_publications', required: The resource type for a form publication.

OK

- FormPublicationResponse: A response containing a single form publication.
  - `data` FormPublicationData, required: A form publication resource object.
    - `attributes` FormPublicationAttributes, required: The attributes of a form publication.
      - `created_at` string, date-time, required: The time at which the publication was created.
      - `form_id` string, uuid, required: The ID of the form.
      - `form_version` integer, required: The version number that was published.
      - `id` string: The ID of the form publication.
      - `modified_at` string, date-time, required: The time at which the publication was last modified.
      - `org_id` integer, required: The ID of the organization that owns this publication.
      - `publish_seq` integer, required: The sequential publication number for this form.
      - `user_id` integer, required: The ID of the user who created this publication.
      - `user_uuid` string, uuid, required: The UUID of the user who created this publication.
    - `id` string, required: The ID of the form publication.
    - `type` 'form_publications', required: The resource type for a form publication.

## Other responses
