# List case watchers

`GET /api/v2/cases/{case_id}/watchers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/cases/{case_id}/watchers`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `cases_read`

Returns the list of users who are watching a case. Watchers receive notifications about updates to the case.

- `case_id` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- CaseWatchersResponse: Response containing the list of users watching a case.
  - `data` CaseWatcher[], required: List of case watchers.
    - `id` string, required: The primary identifier of the case watcher.
    - `relationships` CaseWatcherRelationships, required: Relationships for a case watcher, linking to the underlying user resource.
      - `user` CaseWatcherUserRelationship, required: The user relationship for a case watcher.
        - `data` UserRelationshipData, required: Relationship to user object.
          - `id` string, required: A unique identifier that represents the user.
          - `type` 'user', required: User resource type.
    - `type` 'watcher', required: JSON:API resource type for case watchers.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `429`: Too many requests
