# Get an AI Gateway budget's current period

`GET /api/v2/budgets/{id}/current-period`

Get the active accounting window, enforced capacity, and current spend.

  - `data` AiGatewayBudgetPeriodResource, required: Active accounting period for an AI Gateway budget.
    - `attributes` AiGatewayBudgetPeriodAttributes, required: Accounting state enforced for an AI Gateway budget's active period.
      - `budget_id` string, uuid, required: Budget resource identifier.
      - `current_spend_microcents` integer, required: Spend currently counted against the active accounting period.
      - `default_capacity_microcents` integer, required: Capacity that new accounting periods inherit from the budget definition.
      - `effective_capacity_microcents` integer, required: Capacity enforced for the active accounting period.
      - `monitor_id` integer, nullable, required: Datadog monitor ID provisioned for this budget. Null when monitor provisioning was skipped or failed.
      - `window_end` string, date-time, required: End of the active accounting window.
      - `window_start` string, date-time, required: Start of the active accounting window.
    - `id` string, uuid, required: Budget identifier associated with this active period.
    - `type` 'budget-periods', required: AI Gateway budget period resource type.
