# Update App Self-Service Status

`PATCH /api/v2/app-builder/apps/{app_id}/self-service`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/app-builder/apps/{app_id}/self-service`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Enable or disable self-service for an app. Self-service apps can be discovered and run by users in your organization without explicit access being granted.

## Path parameters

- `app_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- UpdateAppSelfServiceRequest: A request to enable or disable self-service for an app.
  - `data` UpdateAppSelfServiceRequestData: Data for updating an app's self-service status.
    - `attributes` UpdateAppSelfServiceRequestDataAttributes: Attributes for updating an app's self-service status.
      - `selfService` boolean, required: Whether the app is enabled for self-service.
    - `type` 'selfService': The self-service resource type.

## Response `204`

No Content
