# Delete App

`DELETE /api/v2/app-builder/apps/{app_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v2/app-builder/apps/{app_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Delete a single app. This API requires a [registered application key](https://docs.datadoghq.com/api/latest/action-connection/#register-a-new-app-key). Alternatively, you can configure these permissions [in the UI](https://docs.datadoghq.com/account_management/api-app-keys/#actions-api-access).

- `app_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

OK

- DeleteAppResponse: The response object after an app is successfully deleted.
  - `data` DeleteAppResponseData: The definition of `DeleteAppResponseData` object.
    - `id` string, uuid, required: The ID of the deleted app.
    - `type` 'appDefinitions', required: The app definition type.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `410`: Gone
- `429`: Too many requests
