# Get hourly usage for sensitive data scanner

`GET /api/v1/usage/sds`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v1/usage/sds`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `usage_read`

## Response `200`

OK

- UsageSDSResponse: Response containing the Sensitive Data Scanner usage for each hour for a given organization.
  - `usage` UsageSDSHour[]: Get hourly usage for Sensitive Data Scanner.
    - `apm_scanned_bytes` integer, nullable: The total number of bytes scanned of APM usage across all usage types by the Sensitive Data Scanner from the start of the given hour’s month until the given hour.
    - `events_scanned_bytes` integer, nullable: The total number of bytes scanned of Events usage across all usage types by the Sensitive Data Scanner from the start of the given hour’s month until the given hour.
    - `hour` string, date-time: The hour for the usage.
    - `logs_scanned_bytes` integer, nullable: The total number of bytes scanned of logs usage by the Sensitive Data Scanner from the start of the given hour’s month until the given hour.
    - `org_name` string: The organization name.
    - `public_id` string: The organization public ID.
    - `rum_scanned_bytes` integer, nullable: The total number of bytes scanned of RUM usage across all usage types by the Sensitive Data Scanner from the start of the given hour’s month until the given hour.
    - `total_scanned_bytes` integer, nullable: The total number of bytes scanned across all usage types by the Sensitive Data Scanner from the start of the given hour’s month until the given hour.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `403`: Forbidden - User is not authorized
- `429`: Too many requests
