# Get hourly usage for CI visibility

`GET /api/v1/usage/ci-app`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v1/usage/ci-app`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `usage_read`

Get hourly usage for CI visibility (tests, pipeline, and spans).
**Note:** This endpoint has been deprecated. Hourly usage data for all products is now available in the [Get hourly usage by product family API](https://docs.datadoghq.com/api/latest/usage-metering/#get-hourly-usage-by-product-family). ## Response `200`

OK

- UsageCIVisibilityResponse: CI visibility usage response
  - `usage` UsageCIVisibilityHour[]: Response containing CI visibility usage.
    - `ci_pipeline_indexed_spans` integer, nullable: The number of spans for pipelines in the queried hour.
    - `ci_test_indexed_spans` integer, nullable: The number of spans for tests in the queried hour.
    - `ci_visibility_itr_committers` integer, nullable: Shows the total count of all active Git committers for Intelligent Test Runner in the current month. A committer is active if they commit at least 3 times in a given month.
    - `ci_visibility_pipeline_committers` integer, nullable: Shows the total count of all active Git committers for Pipelines in the current month. A committer is active if they commit at least 3 times in a given month.
    - `ci_visibility_test_committers` integer, nullable: The total count of all active Git committers for tests in the current month. A committer is active if they commit at least 3 times in a given month.
    - `org_name` string: The organization name.
    - `public_id` string: The organization public ID.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `403`: Forbidden - User is not authorized
- `429`: Too many requests
