# Create a new service object

`POST /api/v1/integration/pagerduty/configuration/services`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v1/integration/pagerduty/configuration/services`
- Auth: API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`

Create a new service object in the PagerDuty integration.

## Request body

- PagerDutyService: The PagerDuty service that is available for integration with Datadog.
  - `service_key` string, required: Your service key in PagerDuty.
  - `service_name` string, required: Your service name associated with a service key in PagerDuty.

## Response `201`

OK

- PagerDutyServiceName: PagerDuty service object name.
  - `service_name` string, required: Your service name associated service key in PagerDuty.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `403`: Authentication error
- `429`: Too many requests
