# Revoke a shared dashboard URL

`DELETE /api/v1/dashboard/public/{token}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v1/dashboard/public/{token}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `dashboards_public_share`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `dashboards_embed_share`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `dashboards_invite_share`

Revoke the public URL for a dashboard (rendering it private) associated with the specified token.

## Path parameters

- `token` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- DeleteSharedDashboardResponse: Response containing token of deleted shared dashboard.
  - `deleted_public_dashboard_token` string: Token associated with the shared dashboard that was revoked.

## Other responses

- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Shared Dashboard Not Found
- `429`: Too many requests
