# Delete dashboards

`DELETE /api/v1/dashboard`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com`
- URL: `https://api.datadoghq.com/api/v1/dashboard`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `DD-API-KEY` and API key in header `DD-APPLICATION-KEY`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `/oauth2/v1/authorize`
    - Token URL: `/oauth2/v1/token` scopes: `dashboards_write`

Delete dashboards using the specified IDs. If there are any failures, no dashboards will be deleted (partial success is not allowed).

## Request body

- DashboardBulkDeleteRequest: Dashboard bulk delete request body.
  - `data` DashboardBulkActionData[], required: List of dashboard bulk action request data objects.
    - `id` string, required: Dashboard resource ID.
    - `type` 'dashboard', required: Dashboard resource type.

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Dashboards Not Found
- `429`: Too many requests
