# List labels

`GET /v1/labels`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.datadive.tools`
- URL: `https://api.datadive.tools/v1/labels`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns the labels of your organization as a tree. Use their ids wherever a route or filter takes a label id. Labels have no access rights, so every caller sees all of them.

## Response `200`

- ExternalTagTreeDto
  - `data` ExternalTagNodeDto[], required
    - `id` number, required: Id to pass to the niche assignment routes and the list filters
    - `name` string, required: Name of this node only
    - `path` string, required: Full name, with ancestors joined by `/`
    - `parentId` number, nullable, required: Id of the parent node in this tree, or null at the top level
    - `children` ExternalTagNodeDto[], required

## Other responses

- `401`: Api key is invalid
- `403`: Unauthorized to access the resource
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded, either the per-client-IP limit or the per-API-key limit for this endpoint.
- `500`: Internal error
