# Create bucket

`POST /v1/object-storage/buckets`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verda.com`
- URL: `https://api.verda.com/v1/object-storage/buckets`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a new S3-compatible bucket. Bucket names are globally unique and must follow S3 naming rules.

## Request body

- BucketNameRequestDto
  - `bucket_name` string, required: Globally unique bucket name (S3 naming rules apply)
  - `location_code` string, required: Location code

## Response `201`

Newly created bucket

- GetBucketResponseDto
  - `id` string, required: Unique identifier of the bucket
  - `name` string, required: Globally unique bucket name
  - `object_count` number: Number of objects stored in the bucket
  - `size_gb` number: Total size of all objects in GB
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the bucket was created
