# Run a flow with parameters (no table required)

`POST /external/v1/flows/{flow_id}/run`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.databar.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.databar.ai/external/v1/flows/{flow_id}/run`
- Auth: API key in header `x-apikey`

Start a flow execution and return a ``task_id``.

Poll ``GET /tasks/{task_id}`` to check status and retrieve outputs.
Inputs are passed as ``{input_id: value}`` — see
``GET /flows/{flow_id}`` for the list of declared inputs.

A run that produced nothing still finishes as ``completed`` with an empty
``data``: poll with ``?include_trace=true`` to get the per-step account of
what each node did and why the run ended where it did.
