# Cancel delivery

`DELETE /v1/deliveries/{deliveryID}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dashelectric.co`
- URL: `https://api.dashelectric.co/v1/deliveries/{deliveryID}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Cancels a delivery while it is still in `ALLOCATING` or
`PENDING_PICKUP`. Once the driver has started pickup, provider-side
cancellation is no longer allowed.

  - `notes` string: Optional cancellation reason surfaced to Dash Ops.

## Response `200`

Cancelled

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Conflict — already terminal, or driver already picked up
