# Which terms this account has accepted

`GET /api/v1/terms`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:5180`
- URL: `http://localhost:5180/api/v1/terms`
- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

The version published now and the version this account accepted on screen. They differ after the terms move, until the account accepts again.

## Response `200`

The two versions.

- object
  - `ok` unknown, required
  - `data` object, required
    - `version` string, required: The version of the terms published now, as the effective date at the top of the document.
    - `accepted` string, nullable, required: The version this account last accepted on screen, or null if it never did.
    - `current` boolean, required: Whether `accepted` is `version`. False is what the product shows a notice for.
  - `meta` object, required
    - `requestId` string, required: Echoed in the x-request-id header. Quote it in a bug report.

## Other responses

- `401`: No session.
